Coby is a 54ft cruiser style narrowboat built by Dartline Narrowboats 1996 and fitted by John Dytch to a very good standard.
Both internally and externally it’s quite obvious that this boat has been cared for very well.
The interior has a clean and welcoming appearance with deep warm woodwork rather than a cold modern panelling.
Externally the boat was shot blasted and repainted 2016 at great cost, attractive with a simple Blue, Black and Silver colour scheme Coby looks great today. Finally, the cruiser stern has an elegant seating area which is both comfortable and functional too.
Equipped with a modern Canaline 42Hp engine and robust PRM 150 gearbox Coby’s modern engine has only accrued 1,118.3 hours.
Also equipped with a 1.6Kw combi inverter, 3.5Kw travel power generator, a dishwasher and a washing machine Coby may make a nice little live aboard or long-term cruiser?
Overall, Coby is the perfect example of how nice a boat could be at 23 years old, this is thanks to the re-investment and commitment owners of Coby have had to the continued maintenance every narrowboat needs but often doesn’t receive.
