Whitchurch is a 57ft Cruiser style narrowboat built by Silsden Boats Ltd.
Completed 2005 for the Silsden hire fleet and subsequently transferred to the Navigator fleet at Nantwich and then Middlewich Narrowboats thereafter. The latter unfortunately ceased trading and the fleet has subsequently has been disbanded.
Whitchurch is currently being blacked and is due to be placed back on the water any time. The boats batteries are also being tested as they were found loose on board and will be re-wired accordingly once it is confirmed that they are in a good condition.
57ft in length Whitchurch offers accommodation for 4 people with a combination of one double bed and the option of either two single beds or a further double bed aft. Fitted with a galley and sitting/ dining area fore Whitchurch has a 4 burner gas hob with oven/grill, under counter fridge and a microwave. Also fitted with two bathrooms; one has a shower, pump-out WC and basin whilst the other has a second pump-out WC and wash basin.
Whitchurch is powered by a Beta Marine Engine, unconfirmed the engine appears to be a 35Hp 4 cylinder model with a large PRM 260 gearbox. Also fitted is a Mastervolt combi inverter charger system, a Pioneer CD radio and a LCD TV is supplied..
Overall all of these boats should provide a solid start for those looking to get afloat with friends and family… or maybe you’ll modify the interior and create a live aboard?
