Whitchurch is a 57ft Cruiser style narrowboat now in need of restoration and repair.
Completed 2005 for the Silsden Boats hire fleet and subsequently transferred to the Navigator fleet at Nantwich and then Middlewich Narrowboats thereafter. The latter unfortunately ceased trading and the fleet has subsequently has been disbanded.
57ft in length Whitchurch offers accommodation for 4 people with a combination of one double bed and the option of either two single beds or a further double bed aft. Fitted with a galley and sitting/ dining area fore Whitchurch has a 4 burner gas hob with oven/grill, under counter fridge and a microwave. Also fitted with two bathrooms; one has a shower, pump-out WC and basin whilst the other has a second pump-out WC and wash basin.
Whitchurch is powered by a Beta Marine Engine, unconfirmed the engine appears to be a 35Hp 4 cylinder model with a large PRM 260 gearbox. Also fitted is a Mastervolt combi inverter charger system, a Pioneer CD radio and a LCD TV is supplied.. batteries on board were tested previously and re-fitted accordingly.
Following a previous pre-purchase survey we have been advised that the hull will need over plating; the price of Whitchurch has been set low and we hope that a buyer will be prepared to make a reasonable offer knowing this is the case. Overall the boat should provide a starting point for those looking to get afloat with friends and family… or maybe you’ll modify the interior and create a live aboard?
