Serendipity is a 31ft SeaOtter, built 2009 the hull is of aluminium construction with a water ballast which makes the boat trailable and for those that don’t know this is a unique narrowboat design…
SeaOtter’s offer almost maintenance free hull’s thanks to their aluminium construction which does not rust like steel, so painting the hull can be undertaken for efficiency and appearance but is not absolutely necessary.
Offering a very comfortable interior featuring an intelligent space saving layout, excellent woodwork and well-appointed upholstery in addition to good quality equipment.
Short in length and nimble due to the hull design Serendipity is light at the helm. Cruising short or long distances with a SeaOtter such as this can be comfortable and work in and around marinas is a pleasure too.
Powered by a reliable Nanni 21Hp engine Serendipity offers a higher power output than needed for this design of craft. Serendipity only weighs 3,000Kg dry and 4,500Kg when fully water ballasted.
Externally as with every SeaOtter, Serendipity has great paintwork which should be looking good for a long time thanks to the standards Sea Otter obtained during production.
Overall this is a lovely little boat, perfectly designed and ideal for those looking for a weekend retreat with the benefit of moving around the country by water or road!
