Sampson is a beautifully built boat and a testament to the skill of the owner who has completed the fit-out…

Sampson is a 57ft semi-trad, using a Jonathan Wilson hull as a foundation the owner fitter has selected quality fittings and materials to enhance the boat throughout construction and it’s paid off.. Sampson is a sophisticated and classy narrowboat.

For the most part you’ll find that simple solutions and attention to details are what make this boat really stand out from the crowd… this is not the average narrowboat!

Designed with the galley aft and bedroom fore the interior has light and airy feel thanks to painted oak faced birch panelling, plenty of portholes and the addition of traditional prisms in the deck head. The rooms have been calculated carefully and each feels open and spacious.

Equipped with a Beta JD3 tug engine beneath the stern deck Sampson has that classic appeal for those at the helm without a compromisingly large engine room in the centre of the cabin. Also fitted with a Hurricane heating system and independent Victron inverter and, battery charging systems you may sense that the fit-out was not restricted by cost and time… a labour of love even the wiring in this boat looks elegant!

Needless to say Sampson needs to be seen to be appreciated…
